Soybeans held above 1M for the second straight week at 1.138M MT with China at 756K, Algeria at 127K, and Bangladesh at 59K. Corn slipped to 1.368M with Mexico at 540K, Japan at 373K, and Colombia at 178K. Wheat was light at 302K with Philippines, Bangladesh, and Taiwan splitting the top three in a tight range between 51K and 63K.Â
Five weeks into the 26/27 corn and bean marketing year. Soybeans at 3.987M MT are running 31% ahead of last year’s pace, entirely on the back of China volumes. Corn at 7.110M is 4.4% ahead. Wheat at week 18 has shipped 6.672M versus 10.264M a year ago, a 35% deficit.
